What's a fun or interesting fact about your hometown?

The area where Sellersville now stands was originally inhabited by the Lenape Native American tribe. One of several interesting landmarks in Sellersville is the Washington House, a historic hotel and restaurant that has been operating since 1742. It has welcomed famous guests such as George Washington and Marquis de Lafayette during the Revolutionary War. Local legend maintains that the Liberty Bell was housed overnight in the village in 1777 on its way to a location in Allentown to escape the British occupation.

What was your first paying job?

My first job was working at Pizza Hut. I did everything from being a hostess to wait staff, cook, dishwasher, and getting involved in opening and closing the restaurant.

My hometown of Wyoming gave the state of Wyoming its name. It was also where “The Battle of Wyoming” took place. Also known as the Wyoming Massacre, was a military engagement during the American Revolutionary War between Patriot militia and a force of Loyalist soldiers and Indigenous warriors. The battle took place in the Wyoming Valley of Pennsylvania on July 3, 1778

What's the most exciting part of your job?

Learning about new projects and programs that our customers are involved with, as well as aiding in the design of spring solutions that play essential roles in their products.
