We offer a choice of three medical plans designed to fit any family’s needs. Coverage is available to all full-time team members and their dependents on the first of the month following 60 days of employment with Vulcan Spring, and includes various wellness and fitness programs, discounts, and reimbursements. We also offer competitive dental coverage for preventative, basic, and major dental services, as well as a vision plan for frames, contact lenses, and annual exams.
All full-time team members, who have completed 30 days of employment, are eligible for the following recognized holidays:
We offer all eligible full-time team members Paid Time Off (PTO) that they are eligible to access and use upon the completion of their first 90 days of employment. This pool of days can be used at the employees’ discretion for vacations, appointments, illnesses, school events, or just a simple day off.
We offer eligible full-time team members and their families important financial protection through a basic life plan, covered in full by us. The option to purchase additional coverages to meet individual and family needs by the team member is available.
We offer a 401K savings plan to eligible team members providing an opportunity for an individual to save for the future in preparation for retirement. Team members who are 19 years and older may enroll 14 days from their date of hire. We will match 100% for the first 3% of a team members’ contribution and 50% match up to 3% more of a team members’ contribution.
We recognize that our team members work hard when they are here. We encourage them to grow by providing a tuition reimbursement program to those eligible and desiring to expand their knowledge. Our team members contributions are important to us and it is important for us to recognize them and share with the rest of the team through our Employee Recognition Program. We also understand work-life balance and offer a program in which eligible team members can participate in our PTO Buy-up program. We have season tickets to several local sports teams and share those tickets with our team members. A large deck off the back of our building allows employees to enjoy the outdoors during their breaks and is used for on-site picnics and food events.
