Our 2019 SHOT Show & Supplier Showcase Highlights

Gear up. This was the theme and mission of SHOT Show 2019, the largest and most comprehensive trade show for all professionals involved with the shooting sports, hunting and law enforcement industries. Excited to be representing our firearm and gun springs on the Sands Expo Center floor in Las Vegas, Nevada, our time at SHOT Show 2019 was packed with highlights from gun part suppliers like us, and firearm manufacturers. If you attended the show, we hope you had the opportunity to stop by our booth and see how our gun springs put precision and accuracy into firearms spanning AR-15s, AR-10s, AR-9s, AR-47s, pistols, rifles, and shotguns.

For firearm and gun material suppliers like us, the best part of SHOT Show is the SHOT Week Supplier Showcase. This portion of the event gives suppliers the opportunity to present their products to shooting, hunting, and outdoor manufacturers. In our case, we demonstrated the precision and power of our stock and custom firearm and gun springs, while other suppliers showed off tools, machinery, plastics, metal extrusions, fabrics, OE materials, fabrication, logistics, software and so forth for the shooting sports or outdoor sporting industries. Here’s what we demonstrated during the Showcase.

How Our Gun Springs Accommodate Firearm Manufacturers

Through our spring demo boxes, we showed how our springs are made with precision for optimal function of the firearm, as well as how they provide strong and consistent force or torque output, even in small spaces. We explained how our stock and custom springs accommodate firearms and parts including:

  • Box-style magazines
  • Handgun drop-in triggers
  • Rifle drop-in trigger replacement
  • Drug style rifle magazines
  • Buffer tube assemblies

For new products, we discussed how we can help with the prototyping at early development stages to ensure optimal function, and because we manufacture our springs in-house, they can be mass-produced for high volume firearm and gun needs.

Most Common Types of Firearm & Gun Springs We Manufacture

During the showcase, we talked with manufacturers of AR-15s, AR-10s, AR-9s, AR-47s, pistols, rifles, and shotguns, to demonstrate the specific springs that make their firearms operate with consistent precision, force and power even after long-term use. The most commonly used gun springs for these types of firearms include:

Each of these firearm and gun springs provides a different type of force and torque to accommodate the unique design and function of firearms for shooting sports, hunting and law enforcement.

How Our Custom Spring Manufacturing Process Ensures Optimal Function

One attendee named Brian Hoffner commented, “I like the fact that someone like me, a manufacturer, can [even if I don’t know exactly what I want], walk this floor and be like “wow, I need that. This is a better way and a cheaper way to do what I’m doing now.” For manufacturers that shared his sentiment, we provided insight into our custom spring manufacturing process for magazine springs, trigger springs, constant force springs, power springs, torsion springs, compression springs, wire forms, Pullbox springs and recoil springs, which includes:

  1. Initial design review
  2. Prototyping
  3. Testing
  4. Quality production

We utilize highly customized production equipment, lean manufacturing techniques, and principles and ISO 9001:2018 certified procedures to provide a streamlined and efficient manufacturing process. Benefits of working with us include reduced lead times, high-quality control, and competitive costs.
